Upper East Side
The Upper East Side is an affluent residential neighborhood known for its elegant brownstone buildings, high-end boutiques, world-class museums, and prestigious private schools. The area is home to Central Park, the iconic Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Guggenheim and the 92nd Street Y, a preeminent cultural and community center that hosts many notable guests.
Esteemed Park Avenue is synonymous with luxury living. Marked by its grand architecture and historical landmarked buildings, it has a storied reputation of being home to some of the wealthiest and most influential people in the world. Pre-War construction dominates the avenue. These homes once occupied by the likes of the Rockefellers and the Vanderbilts have generous layouts, high ceilings, and large picture windows.
In recent years, luxury condo construction has gained a foothold on the upper east side changing, in part, the history and skyline of the area. Often referred to as the city’s hub for the social elite, this area offers a convenient and luxurious lifestyle due to its high-end real estate and upscale shopping. Further to the east “off the avenue” there are a multitude of housing choices including many post-war buildings, and rentals.
